An exciting and interesting spouse/guest program to see the Washington sites and attractions is planned. Tours will be conducted by a professional guide. Pre-registration is necessary, and includes sightseeing and all social functions. To register, fill out the registration form and return it with your payment of $50 per person to TRTR, as outlined in the registration page. The tentative program is as follows:

Tour of Arlington National Cemetery with lunch and time for shopping at the Pentagon City Mall (one of the area's most spectacular), and the Kennedy Center. Tour of various Washington monuments, including the Vietnam, Lincoln, Jefferson, and FDR Memorials, and the Washington Monument.

Morning tour of the White House (not confirmed), followed by a driving tour of Capitol Hill, with time to visit the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress. Tour of the Smithsonian Institution, including the Air and Space Museum and the Museum of American History. Visits to the Holocaust Museum, the National Gallery of Art, the National Archives, and more.

Special morning tour of NIST, including the museum, Newton's apple tree, and research facilities. This will be followed by lunch in Dining Room C. In the afternoon, there will be a tour of the NIST Research Reactor Facilities.
