Transportation between the Hilton and NIST will be provided throughout the conference. Please use this transportation, as parking at NIST is limited. Bus service will also be provided to the two evening banquets in the District of Columbia.

The Washington D.C. Metropolitan area is served by three airports: Ronald Reagan Washington National, Dulles International, and Baltimore Washington International (BWI).

From Ronald Reagan Washington National: Take George Washington Memorial Parkway North to I-495 (Maryland), to I-270 North to exit 11 (hotel can be seen on right after the exit). Turn right at first intersection (Rt. 355), then right again at next light (Perry Parkway) and proceed to the hotel.

From Dulles International: Take Dulles access road (non-toll) to I-495 North (Baltimore), to I-270 North to exit 11 (hotel can be seen on right after the exit). Turn right at first intersection (Rt. 355), then right again at next light (Perry Parkway) and proceed to the hotel.

From BWI: Take I-195 to I-95 South, to I-495 West, to I-270 North to exit 11 (hotel can be seen on right after the exit). Turn right at first intersection (Rt. 355), then right again at next light (Perry Parkway) and proceed to the hotel.

By taxi: Taxis cost about $45 from National Airport, $55 from Dulles, and $70 from BWI.

By limousine: Make reservations for limousine service at 1-800-670-0440 or 1-800-258-3826 or 1-800-590-0000. The cost is $22-$30, depending on the airport. The fare is much lower for a second person.

Traveling north on 1-270: Take exit 10, then turn left into NIST at the first light. Turn left at the stop sign and continue to the parking lot of Administration Bldg. (101).

Traveling south on I-270: Take exit 11B, turn left at the second light, right into NIST, left at stop sign, and proceed to parking lot of Administration Bldg. (101).

NIST also provides shuttle service from the Shady Grove Metro Station at 15 and 45 minutes after the hour, beginning at 8:15 am. Exit the station on the east side to your right and look for a van marked "NIST."

To get from the Hilton to NIST: Turn right from the parking lot onto Perry Parkway, continue to end and turn right onto West Diamond. Turn left at the light into NIST, turn left at the stop sign, and proceed to the parking lot of the Administration Bldg. (101).
