Welcome to the TRTR 2007 Conference web site.

This year’s conference is hosted by the Oregon State University Radiation Center. The conference will be held in Lincoln City, Oregon at the Inn at Spanish Head Resort Hotel, September 17-20, 2007. A wide range of topics relating to research and test reactor operations, maintenance, security and safety, will be discussed.

The Inn at Spanish Head is a premier location along the majestic Oregon coast. It is the only resort hotel right on the beach with unparalleled views and easy access to the wonders that mesmerized Spanish sailors centuries ago. This inspired meeting location will spark your soul and feed your spirit. Use the links along the left of this page to check the schedule, submit a paper, register and make your travel plans. Conference Registration Includes:

  • Meeting presentations, conference portfolio, and 2 breaks each day with beverage and snack. The Conference begins at 8:00am Tuesday and adjourns at noon on Thursday. Click the schedule link on the left for complete schedule.
  • Meals included in registration begin Monday evening with a beach bonfire opening complete with heavy hors D'oeuvres, beverages* and s'mores (weather permitting). Breakfast and lunch Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and dinner Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • A special night out Tuesday with dinner at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.This may be your only chance to be nose-to-nose with a shark or claw-to-claw with a variety of crustaceans while enjoying a gourmet dinner, drinks* and desserts.
  • Wednesday night's banquet* at the Inn of Spanish Head will wrap up the conference with a special guest speaker.
  • The optional TRIGA Reactor tour at Oregon State University Thursday afternoon.

*Each paid registrant will receive 2 drink tickets. Both non-alcoholic and alcoholic refreshments will be offered.

 

Cancellations
Request for registration refund must be made in writing and sent to OSU Radiation Center, 100 Radiation Center, Corvallis, OR 97331, faxed to 1-541-737-0480 or e-mailed to radiation.center@oregonstate.edu . Cancellations received on or before September 3, 2007, will receive a full refund minus a USD $50 processing fee. No refund of fees will be made after September 3, 2007.
