Licensing Manager - the Nuclear Energy eXperimental Testing (NEXT) Lab team at Abilene Christian University (ACU) is searching for a licensing manager to lead the licensing of a Molten Salt Research Reactor (MSRR) at ACU. The Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) was submitted to the NRC on August 15th. The licensing manager will facilitate the answering of RAIs connected to the PSAR as well as the development of the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). A well-qualified individual for this position will be able to work alongside the highly motivated team of faculty, staff, and students to help coordinate efforts to engage the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and oversee all licensing efforts. This person will be working with the NEXT Research Alliance (NEXTRA), which consists of ACU, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin, and Natura Resources.
